WYWCC Race at Skipton 8th Nov 09

Well we had 25 runners turn out for the race at Skipton over what would be a 3 lap muddy course, three laps means quite a few runners would be lapped, not ideal. We had a casualty on the first lap with Maxine dropping out, that was a blow for the ladies team as they were already depleted. Kevin Ogden had an outstanding race in sixth place to lead our runners home, but for the best running style I would give to Mark Oldroyd his arms and legs moving in unison he stood out in all the runners. For the worst running style I will have to give to Andy Cottier he looked stiff round the hips and legs and sometime gives the appearance he's running lame.
Our men overall finished second.
Veterans overall were fourth
and Women overall were sixth
The team overall finished 4th
